A corporate magician gives a company dinner, a launch or a client evening its first real ice breaker. Colleagues who barely talk at work end up laughing at the same table, and a short stage slot gives the whole ballroom one shared moment before the awards. You can book a corporate magician in Singapore for a dinner and dance, a gala dinner, a product launch, a trade show booth or a team event.
Price: a corporate stage segment usually costs SGD 1,000 to 2,500 for 20 to 40 minutes, and roving close-up magic SGD 600 to 1,200 for 1 to 2 hours. See magician prices in Singapore.
Two ways to book it
Most corporate bookings take one of two shapes, and many use both.
Roving close-up magic at the reception. The magician walks the room in the first 45 to 90 minutes while guests stand with drinks, working small groups of four to eight with cards and coins. It needs no stage and no microphone. Read more about roving magicians.
A stage slot in the programme. A scripted set of 15 to 30 minutes, placed between courses or just before the main item such as the awards or the CEO's speech. It needs a wireless microphone and a small clear area in front of the head table or the stage.
The seated dinner mistake
The most expensive error is booking roving magic for a seated dinner. Once guests sit down to eat, a roving act has no natural moment to work, and it either gets skipped or feels forced table by table. For a seated dinner, book a stage slot, or keep the roving set inside the cocktail reception before the doors to the ballroom open.
Headcount and coverage
One roving magician covers about 80 to 120 guests over 90 minutes by moving between groups. For more guests, book two magicians who work different zones of the room. For 200 guests or more, a stage illusionist or a mentalist with a microphone reaches the whole room better than close-up magic, which does not carry past a few metres.
Your brand in the act
The magician can work your logo, a product or a key message into the routine. At a launch, the magic can lead up to the moment the product appears. At a trade show booth, close-up magic draws people in and keeps them there while your team talks to them. See trade show magicians.
Book early for the dinner and dance season
From October to December, the same performers are booked across many company dinner and dance nights. Book four to eight weeks ahead for those dates. Outside the season, two to four weeks is usually enough. For the office party, see Christmas party magicians.
What to send
Send the date, the venue, the headcount, your running order and the slot you have in mind. Mention any product or message you want in the act. For bigger illusions on stage, see stage and illusion shows. Then message us on WhatsApp or use the quote form.
